Award was received for an Automated Quality Control Toolkit that works seamlessly with Bentley Expert Designer Communications V8i.
Alpharetta, December 3, 2012:  IMMCO today announced winning Bentley's prestigious Be Inspired Award for Innovation in Communications Networks for their development of an Automated Quality Control Toolkit.  The toolkit works directly with Bentley Expert Designer Communications V8i product to ensure Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) design and data construction is done to meet the highest standards.
The Automated Quality Control Toolkit checks thousands of miles of outside plant (OSP) data, stored in Oracle Spatial, to identify a wide range of potential errors. The toolkit works within the Bentley environment to provide workflows and methods to quickly review and fix errors.  This helps to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity while significantly reducing review time and costs.  Accurate data is vital to cable and broadband operators, who use their data for critical applications such as serviceability analysis, customer provisioning, inventory tracking, facility and equipment maintenance, and network planning.
