eSilicon Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Management System Standard Certification

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- November 29, 2012 -- eSilicon Corporation, the largest independent semiconductor design and manufacturing services provider, is proud to announce that it has received ISO 9001:2008 Management System Standard Certification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

The lead auditor, who has 23 years of auditing experience, was very impressed with our overall quality management systems, particularly the eSilicon Access production management system, which he said was one of the best he’d seen. He called the eSilicon Access system a ‘game changer’ for quality systems because of the unambiguous transparency it delivers to customers.” eSilicon’s patented eSilicon Access production management system is one of the most advanced and innovative in the semiconductor industry. The eSilicon Access system links electronically to all of eSilicon’s major suppliers, automatically collecting and validating work-in-process (WIP) production data multiple times daily. The DNV audit included eSilicon’s quality management system, quality system manual, management review process, review procedures, work instructions, production release process and records, physical silicon design and package design.
