The use of AVEVA WorkMate and AVEVA PDMS improves project efficiency and mitigates operational risk on the Brynhild and Edvard Grieg oilfields in the North Sea 

Oslo , Norway – 19 November 2012: AVEVA today announced that Lundin Norway AS, a key operator on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), has signed an agreement to implement a broad range of AVEVA technology for use on its first operated oilfields in the North Sea. Included in the contract are AVEVA’s Enterprise Asset Management solution, AVEVA WorkMate, and 3D engineering design solution AVEVA PDMS. Lundin will benefit from WorkMate’s ability to visualise work planning and to identify areas of risk that can be rapidly addressed. At the same time, the greater design efficiency of AVEVA PDMS will help it to compress project schedules and reduce rework.

Lundin will also be deploying AVEVA’s Control of Work solutions: AVEVA Safe Job Analysis and AVEVA Work Permit Manager, along with AVEVA Global for project work sharing.
