IMTS 2012 - Creaform Releases VXelements 2.0 and Introduces New MetraSCAN 3D and C-Link Functionality

The company’s portable 3D scanners powered by VXelements offer unmatched surface quality

Lévis, September 6, 2012 – Creaform, leader in 3D portable measurement solutions, will be introducing next week version 2.0 of VXelements, the proprietary data acquisition software that powers its entire fleet of portable 3D measurement devices.

The Creaform technologies actually draw their measurement power from exclusive and advanced surface reconstruction software algorithms that have undergone major improvements. Based on the concept of intelligent measurement, Creaform’s technologies and software deliver a very accurate high density set of points, in real time and without noise.

All types of 3D scanners combined (white light, laser, etc.), Creaform’s portable 3D scanners offer the best-in-class surface quality, which translates into accurate and high resolution data. Ultimately, users are provided with 3D models that are the closest possible to the actual part.

Where to see VXelements 2.0 in action?

Visitors at the International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012 on September 10-15 in Chicago can come by Creaform’s booth (E-5647) to see VXelements’ new and improved capabilities and features showcased with the Creaform 3D scanners. Moreover and for the first time in America, we will be introducing our brand new line-up of MetraSCAN 3D optical CMM scanners and the C-Link functionality.
