With over 2 years of extensive use in both Maya and Nuke, ZYNC's pre-release program now includes 10 facilities, with plans to add another 15 before the January launch. ZYNC's massive pre-release success has been demonstrated in the vfx heavy trailer for the forthcoming Robert Zemeckis/Denzel Washington film "Flight." All 395 of the film's visual effects shots were rendered in the cloud with ZYNC by Atomic Fiction, the sole vfx vendor. In addition, 225 shots for the upcoming Kevin James film "Here Comes the Boom" were provided by Zero Visual Effects, who also used ZYNC exclusively for rendering.
"As evidenced by our users' high quality vfx work, ZYNC has proven that with cloud rendering the future is now," said Todd Prives, ZYNC's VP of Business Development and Marketing. "The ability to expand and contract rendering resources as needed has allowed our customers to take on large and challenging jobs in an extremely cost effective manner, while maintaining no unnecessary overhead between projects."
Having established partnerships with key vfx software vendors The Foundry, NVIDIA/Mental Images, Chaos Group, Solid Angle and Oktobor Animation Software, ZYNC is poised to provide the visual effects industry with a complete cloud rendering solution for the industry's key creative tools upon launch. In addition, ZYNC is working closely with Shotgun Software to provide integration into their platform which will allow users to launch and monitor ZYNC renders directly from Shotgun.

About ZYNC
Founded by post-production industry veterans Sean Devereaux, Marc Sadeghi and Brian Drewes, ZYNC is the visual effects industry's first completely integrated cloud-based storage and rendering platform. ZYNC's secure pay-as-you-go service provides instant and affordable access to high volume rendering resources, normally a limiting factor in digital productions. ZYNC features a layered defense architecture that encrypts data at all points of exchange and storage while offering an extremely user-friendly interface. To date ZYNC has been used by pre-release sites on seven major feature films as well as hundreds of commercial projects for a total of over 5,500,000 core render hours. Supported host applications currently include Autodesk Maya, NVIDIA's Mental Ray, Chaos Group's V-Ray, Arnold from Solid Angle and The Foundry's Nuke.
