Honored by Green IT Magazine in the
‘Sustainable Design/Analysis Software of the Year’ Category
LONDON – Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, today announced its Hevacomp Mechanical Designer software was named “Sustainable Design/Analysis Software of the Year” in Green IT Magazine’s third annual Green IT Awards ceremony held at the London Zoo in Regents Park, London. Green IT Magazine is dedicated to environmental issues within the IT industry. Its readership selected the nominations in more than 20 categories, and a panel of experts that included the magazine’s editor determined the winners. The entries were judged on the following criteria:
- the overall quality of the submission;
- the degree of originality and innovation in ‘green’ on the business, its suppliers, and its users in terms of environmental, social, and economic benefits;
- evidence of the positive, sustainable impact of ‘green’ on the business, its suppliers and its users in terms of environmental, social, and economic benefits;
- examples of green messages disseminated through the organization’s marketing and communications campaigns.
