The three-day conference promises to deliver over 150 hours of technical hands-on workshops, live product demos, technology updates and announcements, and exciting panel discussions and keynotes.
Attendees can choose from a broad range of class offerings from beginner to advanced levels, with topics ranging from how to design with Atmel products to learning how to optimize a system's performance. Course examples include:
- "Minimizing Power Consumption in Embedded Applications," a two-hour presentation on how to use Atmel AVR® products to minimize power consumption.
- "Accelerated Development with Atmel Cortex-M4, Atmel Software Framework (ASF) and Atmel Studio 6," a four-hour hands-on training on how to develop, debug and deploy an application using the latest Atmel Studio and ASF on a SAM4S Xplained board.
- "Measuring Capacitive Touch Sensing Performance," a one-hour lecture to learn about the metrics used to quantify touchscreen performance.
Finalists from the recently announced University Program Robotics Contest will also take center stage on Day 1 with the winners announced at the end of the contest demonstration. An "Arduino Design Contest" is also scheduled during ATL; contest registrants will implement a design using Arduino interface boards in just four hours.
