Michael Munsey, formerly of Cadence, Silicon Dimensions and Sequence, to oversee international sales
MONROVIA, California – April 13, 2012 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), has appointed electronic design automation (EDA) sales professional Michael Munsey as International Sales Director.
“Michael’s experience across the EDA supply chain encompasses sales, marketing, and engineering – a very useful mix as we continue to grow internationally,” said Greg Lebsack, president of Tanner EDA. “He is familiar with selling and marketing innovative products and managing strategic partnerships as well as having direct experience with some of the key players in EDA. Michael Munsey has been working in the semiconductor, EDA and electronics industries since obtaining his BSEE from Tufts University in 1989. Starting directly from university as a senior associate engineer at IBM, he then worked in senior positions in applications engineering, sales, or product marketing at Viewlogic Systems, Sente, Sequence Design, and Cadence. Most recently, Munsey was vice president marketing at Silicon Dimensions and senior director for enterprise solutions at Cadence.
