New CartoPac State-of-the-Art Mobile Foundation Emphasizes Ease of Administration and Web Access to Enterprise Asset Information Across Choice of Platforms

FORT COLLINS, Colo., April 12, 2012 — (PRNewswire) — CartoPac International has made significant enhancements to its integrated spatial asset management solution and will demonstrate them at the Esri Petroleum GIS Conference in Houston, April 30th to May 2nd, 2012.  CartoPac integrates both mobile and office GIS functionality, so that field asset information can be efficiently collected, viewed, and rapidly shared across the enterprise, automating processes, streamlining communications, and enforcing data standards.

Mobile Server has been redesigned and upgraded for easier data transfer, robustness, intuitive configuration, and administration.  Ken Schrader, CartoPac CEO, commented, "We have always done an excellent job of collecting and managing field asset information.  With Mobile Server we're providing our clients a new standard for providing fast, simple and high integrity management of asset data as it flows between the field and office."

CartoPac's WebOffice, made available in the American market in partnership with SynerGIS, Austrian Esri distributor and solution provider in Europe, offers intuitive web-based access and editing of GIS data, easy wizard-based queries and reporting, and role-based user management.  Highlighting the new release of WebOffice is a truly platform independent, browser-based mobile client.  "We understand the increasing importance of tablets and smartphones in the Energy industry," said Schrader. "WebOffice Mobile now automatically renders information from WebOffice on your mobile device extending the value of WebOffice to the connected out-of-office user."

CartoPac's Spatial Asset Management solutions are built on the Esri ArcGIS for Server platform.
