December 21, 2011 -- In 2011, Applied Geographics, Inc. (AppGeo) enhanced its capacity to provide programming, consulting and customer services in the geospatial industry.
“Even with headwinds in the economy, we continue to find opportunities to grow our brand of focused and innovative GIS consulting,” said Rich Grady, President of AppGeo.
In addition to hiring two new application programmers and two new GIS analysts, AppGeo has added a system administration technician to support its virtualized cloud-based hosting operation, and a customer support representative to expand communications and outreach to clients.
“Kathy Miller, a former AppGeo consultant who most recently worked as a Local Government Sales Representative for Esri, has returned to AppGeo to take on the role of customer support representative,” said Grady. “I am also pleased to note several promotions in 2011, including Steve Anderson from Vice President to Senior Vice President; Mike Blake, Senior Project Manager, to the new position of Director of Local Government Services; Kate Hickey from Project Manager to Project Director; and Morgen Healy from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager.”
With these hires and promotions, AppGeo begins 2012 with top-notch talent and strong management to grow its GIS consulting practice and deliver value to its customers.
