Britain’s National Underground Assets Group (NUAG) Selects Envista for National Records Service London Project

Ensures more effective planning and safer execution of street projects for workers and the public

The first stage of a Great Britain-wide implementation,the London Projectleveragesthe Envista Enterprise ROW Coordination Platform to provide stakeholders, such as utilities and highway authorities,with real-time access to information onburied assets, such as water mains, gas pipes and cables. NUAG anticipates that the Envista platform will help its National Records Serviceenablemore effective planning and safer execution of street works.

The London Project is sponsored by Thames Water (via UKWIR), National Grid Gas, UK Power Networks, Southern Gas Networks and Transport for London (TfL). These organizations, along with project supporters British Telecom Openreach, the City of London and the Department for Transport (DfT), will constitute the Project’s Customer Advisory Group to ensure delivery of the Project and provide the “National Centre of Excellence” to improve national standards for recording and exchanging asset records data.
