Göteborg, November 28, 2011: Carmenta is proud to present a new generation of geospatial web servers. Version 4 of the Carmenta Server fully utilizes modern hardware architectures and supports new ways of deploying web services on physical servers as well as in virtualized and cloud environments. The new version is available in both a native 64-bit and a 32-bit version.

All web service interfaces have been optimized for improved performance, which reinforces Carmenta Server’s position as the most powerful web map server on the market.

The Carmenta Server has built-in support for open standards and with the new version even more web service interfaces are available that are based on Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) specifications.
