Donald Jasurda to Present to Aerospace Professionals at Toulouse, France Event
TROY, Mich., Sept. 27, 2011 -- Dimensional Control Systems, Inc. (DCS), provider of dimensional engineering software solutions and consulting services, today announced that Vice President Donald Jasurda will address aerospace engineers and manufacturers at the 2011 AeroTech Congress and Exhibition. The event will be held Oct. 18 through 21 at the Centre de Congres Pierre Baudis & Toulouse Expo in Toulouse, France.
Jasurda will discuss “The Correlation of As-Built Products to As-Designed Models: Closing the Loop on Dimensional Measurement Results to Simulation Predictions ” on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. It is part of the Manufacturing/ Materials/Structures - Product Design and Manufacturing Integration Track (Part 1 of 2).
His presentation will highlight how to use simulation-based approaches to correlate the theoretical tolerance analysis results produced during engineering simulations to actual as-built results. This “closed-loop” approach allows aerospace professionals to validate, capture and reuse best practices on future programs for both engineering simulation and manufacturing.
"I look forward to addressing this international group of aerospace professionals," said Jasurda. "As manufacturers face tighter program cycles and budgets, they can apply a closed-loop approach to reuse existing and proven manufacturing process elements on new and redesign programs. This will enable them to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and complete program development and enhancements faster than the competition.”
The AeroTech Congress and Exhibition brings together aerospace engineering and manufacturing professionals from around the globe to prepare for future challenges and opportunities. For more information about the event, see http://www.sae.org/events/atc/.
