MecSoft to be showcased in SolidWorks CAD/CAM Slam Webinar

Irvine, CA; September 15, 2011:   MecSoft Corporation, a global leader in Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software, and Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks will be conducting a free webinar showing best practices of using CAM with SolidWorks.

Scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 11:00 – 12:00 PM EDT, the webinar will show how VisualMILL for SolidWorks, a fully integrated CAM solution inside SolidWorks, can help users reduce product manufacturing costs, shorten lead times, and increase throughput and yield. In addition, it will show the integrated benefits of model associativity in CAM programming, working with native files versus importing non-native formatted files, and how the familiar SolidWorks interface makes CAM programming more intuitive.

Presenters will be: Craig Therrien - Product Manager, Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp, Uday Honnalagere – Product Support Manager and Jerry Hiller - Director of International Sales, MecSoft Corp. In addition, Mark McKim of McKim Design & Fabrication in Houston, Texas will be presenting a real world example of how he uses SolidWorks and VisualMILL in his job shop business.
