Xilinx Narrows March Quarter Guidance

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- SAN JOSE, Calif., March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) today released its business update for the March quarter of fiscal 2009.

    --  March quarter sales are expected to be down 13% to 18% sequentially. 
        This is an upward revision to previous sales guidance of down 15% to 25%
        sequentially due primarily to better than expected wireless
        communications sales.

    --  Gross margin guidance of 61% to 63% and operating expense guidance of
        flat to slightly down sequentially remain unchanged.

No conference call will be held in conjunction with this guidance revision.
