Innovation is the hallmark of the microelectronics industry and it is always the focus of SEMICON West. This is especially true in 2011. New designs, processes, and materials development, including vertical transistors (FinFETs) and 3D-IC, as well as advances in III-Vs, substrates, EUV, and test, are driving Moore's Law beyond traditional device scaling technologies and opening new opportunities and new markets across the microelectronics supply chain. All of these technologies and more will be spotlighted as SEMICON West literally becomes a "pipeline of innovation" in San Francisco next month. ( more)
