ESRI Presents Smart Grid and Utility GIS-Based Solutions at TechAdvantage 2010 Conference and Expo

Redlands, California — February 4, 2010 — When electric cooperative professionals convene this week for TechAdvantage 2010, ESRI will present smart grid implementation strategies and other utility solutions based on geographic information system (GIS) technology.

The TechAdvantage 2010 Conference and Expo is scheduled for February 10–15, 2010, in Atlanta, Georgia. Visit ESRI at booth number 725 to see demos and discuss the use of GIS for mapping, asset and outage management, and field crew automation. Utilities are also invited to join ESRI staff for two presentations:

"As the TechAdvantage show grows in size and scope, ESRI is excited to be part of it," said Bill Meehan, ESRI's director of utility solutions. "Electric cooperatives face the challenge of keeping cost low and service quality high, and we appreciate the opportunity to discuss practical, applicable GIS solutions."
