ESRI and Trimble Announce 2009 Mobile Government Grant Recipients

Redlands, California—December 21, 2009—ESRI and Trimble have selected the winners of the joint ESRI and Trimble 2009 Mobile Government Grant ProgramGrants will award hardware, software, and training with a total value of $89,980 to 20 local and state government agencies in the United States.

The grants will help agencies create models that demonstrate the integration of mobile and server geographic information system (GIS) architecture to improve government processes. The winners will then provide reusable applications that can be shared among governments with similar projects. Those applications will be posted on ESRI’s  ArcScripts public domain Web site in June 2010.

The ESRI and Trimble 2009 Mobile Government Grant Series recipients are the following:
