SuperGIS Server Beta Will Release by The End of March

March 10, 2009 - SuperGeo Technologies will release the Beta version of its first enterprise application server software, SuperGIS Server, by the end of March. SuperGIS Server is a set of comprehensive and integrated Enterprise GIS software. With features of out-of-the-box and centrally managed in SuperGIS Server, it allows enterprises to integrated various GIS application functions such as different types of GIS data, visualization application and spatial analysis to server for distribution so that end users could attain and manipulate the data or function services provided by the very server via connecting to the server host that already installed SuperGIS Server with desktop software, mobile device application or browser. As a result, SuperGIS Server fulfills the achievements of expanding the use of GIS capabilities within enterprise as well as saving the end user from installing specific software or giving training to its users.

Following we are going to introduce the major features of SuperGIS Server.

Visualization

SuperGIS Server supports files to display in dynamic or static 2D mode on web or SuperGIS Desktop, and such display mode is achieved through abundant wizard interfaces and settings of the map services desired to display. As to the 3D display mode, it takes SuperGIS Image Server’s offering data so SuperGIS Globe can work on and display the data. Both Advanced and Standard versions of SuperGIS Server support Visualization function.

Attribute Query

End users could query the attribute of raster and image layers with SueprGIS Server through server side transferring results to front side to display. Both Advanced and Standard versions of SuperGIS Server support such attribute query function.

Extension

SuperGIS Server Advanced version provides the plug-in analyst extensions, it gives the front side users with the convenience of the out-of-the-box function, and what’s more, as long as the server side already installed the extensions it will allow the end side to use these plug-in functions without additional installation or settings.
