New Company to Innovate Asset Management Technology for Built Infrastructure

Beverly, Massachusetts – May 15, 2007 - Leading experts from the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) technology sector announced today the formation of a new company Envista Corporation. Envista CEO Rick Fiery, former Infrasoft CEO and Bentley Systems Vice President of Global Finance, has joined forces with founder and executive Vice President Marc Fagan, the former President and co-founder of Vanderweil Facility Advisors (VFA). Building on core technology that Envista acquired from Barchan Associates, LLC, the company’s software enables real-time planning and financial projections to cost-effectively manage road renewal and public works projects. Also joining the Envista management team are Martha Bednarz, Director of Marketing, and Tom Bergeron, Director of Sales. Both executives contribute 20+ years experience in sales, marketing, and product development of technology products and expertise in the AEC industries. The company's global headquarters is located at 900 Cummings Center in Beverly, MA.

Envista Corporation develops software for the strategic and financial management of built infrastructure assets. Envista enterprise-level solutions are designed for public and private utilities, government institutions, defense agencies, and corporations. Envista is partnering with industry headliners IBM and ESRI.

"Towns and cities across America are confronted with the burden of upgrading major public assets built at the turn of the century or after," states Rick Fiery, president and CEO of Envista Corporation. "In a recent Business Week article, it was reported by transportation officials that federal, state, and local governments need to spend an estimated $155.5 billion improving highways and bridges in 2007, which is up 50% over the past 10 years. Envista is developing strategic methodologies to effectively manage infrastructure assets and garner the greatest return on the taxpayer's dollar."
