SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Sept. 12, 2005— FSA, the voice of the global fabless business model, announces the program for the first day of the 2005 FSA Suppliers Expo and Conference. The event will be held from October 5-6 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose.

Vinay Asgekar, senior director, integrated supply chain for QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies, will deliver the day's featured keynote, "Selecting Partners: Have the Rules Changed?"

"It is an honor to be speaking at this highly valuable event for semiconductor industry professionals," said Asgekar. "I look forward to sharing my personal experiences and insights on supplier relationships. The program also includes a panel discussion, entitled "Managing Your Supply Chain Globally," moderated by Bill Swanton, vice president of research at AMR Research, Inc.

New this year, the event provides Supplier Tracks which feature presentations from industry suppliers highlighting their latest products and services.

-- Two Foundry Tracks include presentations from AMI Semiconductor, austriamicrosystems, Chartered Semiconductor, CSMC Technologies Corporation, Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Jazz Semiconductor, MOSIS, Tower Semiconductor, X-FAB Semiconductor Foundries and Z-Foundry.

-- The Design Software & Service Track features Aprio Technologies, Cadence Design Systems, Qthink, Serus Corporation and Synopsys.

-- The Intellectual Property Track is comprised of presentations from ARM, Kilopass, LTRIM, Mentor Graphics and Virage Logic.
