Geo Connect Asia 2022 launches with focus on addressing key regional challenges

Southeast Asia's geospatial & location intelligence event for government, enterprise and the not-for-profit sectors is set for its second edition and will be held on 23rd and 24th March 2022 at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

 The theme for Geo Connect Asia 2022 is Geospatial & Location Intelligence Solutions for Asia - Underground, Land & Sea to Sky.

The geospatial analytics market in 2021 was estimated to be worth USD 59.5 billion, a figure that is predicted to rise to USD 107.8 billion by 2026.

Singapore, 31st August 2021 – International events organiser Montgomery Asia announces today the 2022 edition of Geo Connect Asia, Southeast Asia’s flagship geospatial and location intelligence trade show and conference. , Geo Connect Asia is expected to be double the size in terms of participants and floor space occupied compared to its inaugural edition held earlier this year The 2nd edition of Geo Connect Asia (GCA) and its two complementary industry profiles Digital Construction Asia (DCA) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Asia which will take on a hybrid format, will include an exhibition and a series of conferences. Geo Connect Asia will take place on 23rd and 24th March 2022 at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

The digitalisation of business and government processes have accelerated in the last two years with increased attention paid to data collection, analytics and the management of information. Geospatial is at the heart of these actions and is positioned to incorporate new technologies, including AI, AR & VR, blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT).

Introducing new markets – geospatial solutions in demand

 Geo Connect Asia 2022 builds on the partnerships forged at the March 2021 event and will feature a conference, expert stages, seminars and co-located events.

Key vertical markets with specific region-wide challenges include construction & infrastructure, disaster response, insurance & risk assessment, ports & maritime, precision agriculture, proptech & innovations in real estate, rail & road, retail & logistics, smart cities and utilities.
