250+ ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY LEADERS CONVERGE ON CHICAGO FOR RAPID + TCT 2021

(CHICAGO, August 27, 2021) – More than 250 of the additive manufacturing (AM) industry's leading companies will come together in Chicago at McCormick Place to share innovative technologies at SME’s RAPID + TCT event, September 13-15, 2021. RAPID + TCT, North America's largest and most influential AM event, gives attendees exclusive access to learn real-world AM solutions from the industry’s most respected experts and network with thousands of industry peers.

The exhibitor lineup includes some of the most innovative names in additive manufacturing, from start-ups to established, worldwide brands on the cutting edge of 3D printing hardware, software and services. This year’s featured exhibitors include:

Desktop Metal, exhibiting at booths E7407 and E7501 at RAPID + TCT 2021. Markforged will be exhibiting at booth E7207, where attendees will be able to experience the power of the Digital Forge and the next generation Metal X printer for fully functional metal parts available the next day. The company will also be showcasing Blacksmith, an adaptive manufacturing platform that connects part design, production and inspection, and will fundamentally boost confidence in additively manufactured parts. For the aerospace industry, Markforged will share the newest traceable and flame retardant materials ready for flight, Onyx FR-A and Carbon FR-A.

SLM Solutions will be showcasing innovative metal AM solutions in aerospace, automotive and other industry sectors. Some of SLM Solutions’ most prominent leaders, including CEO Sam O’Leary, Chief Engineer Dieter Schwartz, and Chief Revenue Officer Charlie Grace will be on-site to talk with customers and attendees, and demonstrate the company’s latest solutions.
