Six Nines Founder Jason Cutrer to address HPC cloud adoption in presentation and panel discussion June 18-19

OAKLAND, Calif., June 17, 2019 — (PRNewswire) —

OAKLAND, Calif., June 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Six Nines, a Premier AWS Consulting Partner focusing on High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Windows Workloads, will join more than 3,500 members of the HPC research and commercial sectors and 160 exhibitors at the ISC High Performance Computing conference. The largest HPC forum in Europe, ISC19 will be focused on the latest technologies and products fueling HPC innovation, including storage, networking, AI/machine learning, big data and cloud computing.

During the event, Jason Cutrer, founder and CEO of Six Nines, will present as a speaker and participate on a panel discussion dedicated to HPC in the cloud as part of the Intel Speakerships at ISC19 series at the Intel Booth #F930 in Messe Frankfurt Hall 3. Both sessions will explore how cloud computing helps the HPC community surmount the world's most complex design, engineering and scientific challenges.

In a track titled, "Fluid HPC: On-Demand, High-Performance Cloud," on Tuesday, June 18 at 1:20 pm CEST, Cutrer will address how automating HPC in the cloud enables researchers and designers to focus on results vs. managing the complexities of cloud. During the presentation, Cutrer will preview a new automation tool, FluidHPC, which leverages the power of the AWS cloud, Intel® Xeon® Processor Family and Intel® Cluster Checker to accelerate time to results, keep cloud budgets under control and easily tap into the massive compute available in AWS.

On Wednesday, June 19that 5:00 pm CEST, Cutrer will join four other cloud HPC experts in a panel discussion titled, "Simplifying HPC in the Cloud." Moderated by William (Bill) Magro, Intel Fellow and Chief Technologist for High-Performance Computing at Intel Corporation, the session will explore how software and service companies can offer value-add services on public clouds to increase the value of cloud adoption for HPC and ease the adoption process along the way.

"We're thrilled for the opportunity to have an active role in the insightful conversations that will be taking place around cloud computing," says Cutrer. "Six Nines is passionate about the cloud's ability to accelerate research and design. We are excited to not only help promote cloud adoption, but also demonstrate how the HPC community can tap its power to innovate at an unprecedented pace."
