A new application note entitled Design of a 10 GHz Low-Noise Amplifier highlights the use of NI AWR Design Environment to design a complex low-noise amplifier (LNA) in the X-band frequency and improve its performance for HAM radio systems. The paper describes how the use of Microwave Office circuit design software and AXIEM and Analyst™ EM simulators enabled the designer to overcome critical design issues.
