Mcor Technologies Appoints Chief Operations Officer

DUNLEER, IRELAND, June 17, 2015 –  Mcor Technologies Ltd, manufacturer of the only line of desktop paper-based 3D printers today announced the appointment of Kevin Devlin as the company’s Chief Operations Officer.

Kevin joins the company after 25 years in senior management positions in high-tech, high volume technology companies.  Most recently, he served as Chief Operations Officer at Tandberg Data, Norway, a leading global supplier of affordable, easy-to-use data protection solutions. He also worked as Managing Director of Pillar data systems (EMEA) from 2005 to 2007 and Quantum Corporation (EMEA) from 1994 to 2005. Devlin brings a diversified wealth of expertise to Mcor, including operations, worldwide sales, commercial strategy, process improvements, M&A, integration and business development. He holds a PhD in Physics from Dublin City University.

Working closely with Mcor co-founder and CEO, Dr. Conor MacCormack, and other senior executives, Kevin is charged with growing and expanding Mcor’s manufacturing operations over the next 12 months as the company continues its rapid growth.

Kevin’s appointment as Mcor’s Chief Operating Officer comes at a time when the company continues to experience banner growth. Mcor recently expanded its global presence by opening a Boston-area U.S. headquarters at the Myles Standish Industrial Park in Taunton, Massachusetts. Mcor also doubled its employee base and seen 77-percent growth in its sales and distribution channel over the last 12 months.
