Michael Dell to Outline the Future of Technology in Dell World Keynote Address

AUSTIN, Texas — (BUSINESS WIRE) — November 5, 2014 — Speaking here today, Dell Chairman and CEO Michael Dell will articulate a vision for the future of how technology will continue to advance human progress and the role Dell will play in helping its customers succeed in the digital era.

In a keynote speech prepared for delivery at 10 a.m. CST, Mr. Dell will tell thousands of IT professionals and executives attending the company’s annual Dell World conference that the world is poised at the “edge of infinite possibility” enabled by unprecedented computing resources.

“What was once the domain of only the largest and wealthiest enterprises will be within reach of everyone,” Mr. Dell will assert. “Power that would have been unimaginable just a few years ago will seem paltry just a few years from now.”

Mr. Dell will explain how, as a private company, Dell has accelerated investments in research and development to become the leading provider of end-to-end solutions that matter most to its customers. And in the process, help them change the world.

While other companies manage major organizational transformations, a private Dell “has the ability to pursue a long-term strategy with 100-percent customer focus, deliver industry-leading growth and innovation, and increasingly stand alone as an integrated provider of the end-to-end solutions that matter most to customers,” Mr. Dell will say.
