Oct 30, 2014 -- Geospatial marketing and PR specialist The Marketing Edge has teamed up with European Marketing Consultant, Andrea Schmitz.  Located in Munich and fluent in German, Spanish and French, Schmitz is an experienced marketing professional and PR specialist in the geospatial industry and boosts the capability of The Marketing Edge, who are based in the UK, to service clients who require European or global promotion.

Schmitz was originally with Siemens Nixdorf and became a specialist in Geomatics marketing as International Communications Manager at AED-SICAD. A respected press writer in the GIS/Geomatics field, Andrea also offers marketing help to small and medium-sized IT companies and has a partner network in Germany to provide graphic design, web design, photography and event organisation.

The Marketing Edge was established in 1992 is a specialist in the GIS and Geomatics sectors as well as offering specific expertise in the marketing of telematics, auto ID, mobile computing and vertical market software and services.
