MachineWorks new development advances shown at IMTS 2014

SHEFFIELD - 20th August, 2014 - MachineWorks Ltd, leading provider of CNC simulation and verification software will be celebrating 20 years of manufacturing software and will be showing the latest functionality at IMTS 2014 on stand E-3331, from the 8-13th of September.

What has happened with MachineWorks in the last 20 years?

MachineWorks have seen CNC simulation become a must-have inside CAM software applications and we'd like to think that we have pushed innovation providing the best material removal available in the marketplace hand-in-hand with our customers.

We have experienced machine tool manufacturers creating stable collision avoidance systems with look ahead functions using MachineWorks clash detection software as the machines  became more and more complex.

Last but not least, CNC control manufacturers have increased  their processing and memory capabilities to be able to offer better graphics including MachineWorks real-time simulation and verification on conversational programming.

What's happening today at MachineWorks?

Developers are busily optimising performance, stretching the code further to constantly achieve better results and coming up with creative ways of solving problems.

MachineWorks family of engines can suit any customer's requirement; whether it is in Windows or Linux, 8 gigabytes of memory or half, tool and stock or full machine simulation, simple 3-axis or complex mill-turn, we can make the most of any given scenario to produce the fastest, most accurate and most reliable outcome.

The usual suspects will be on the MachineWorks stand demonstrating the most recent features including "intelligent multithreading" and support for mobile operating systems. We'll invite visitors to reminiscence about the good old days and celebrate MachineWorks  20 years of software development serving this industry.

"When we enter the CAM software pavilion at McCormic place with its fantastic view over the Michigan lake, it feels like home; we are hoping that  all of MachineWorks' friends come by and help us celebrate our 20th  anniversary" says Mike Nicholson, Sales and Marketing Director.
