miso launches new website to make mapping easier

April 03, 2013 -- miso, the young innovative sister company of Dotted Eyes, reveals that ‘mapping just got easier’. This week the company launched its new website, offering a range of simple, easy-to-use products and automated services dedicated to making your job easier.

The new website follows Dotted Eyes’ recent announcement that the company has split into two separate businesses to enable it to deliver more tailored offerings to its customers. The Dotted Eyes brand is now the services business, delivering in-depth services engagements, while miso provides its online business.

These changes mean that miso now looks set to transform the traditional UK mapping market. For the first time, you will be able to easily self-serve the mapping products, software and services you want, when you want. The online portal will offer many of the trusted products and services that Dotted Eyes previously sold. This includes an array of fully optimised maps and mapping data plus fantastic software for working with maps.

It will also offer a number of new services designed to automate time consuming and tiresome tasks when sourcing, preparing and sharing your mapping data. For example, you can get your mapping data styled, merged, formatted, translated and optimised for you or your data checked for any problems before you start using it, saving you a costly problem later on.

Ben Allan, MD of miso, commented: “miso fills a unique gap in the UK marketplace and has been created in response to the growing demand from our customers for us to deliver these types of services online. Consumers have simply become used to the ease and convenience the web has to offer, which is why it makes sense for mapping to follow the same trend.

We will be listening carefully to our customers in the coming months to ensure we deliver the products and services they want on miso. Our ultimate aim is to make working with maps enjoyable.”
