Conexant Receives Nasdaq Notice Letter

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—February 1, 2008— Conexant Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNXT), today announced that it received a letter from the Nasdaq Stock Market dated January 30, 2008, notifying the company that for the last 30 consecutive business days, the bid price of the company's common stock closed below the minimum $1.00 per share requirement for continued inclusion under Marketplace Rule 4450(a)(5). In accordance with Marketplace Rule 4450(e)(2), the company will be provided 180 calendar days, or until July 28, 2008, to regain compliance. In order to regain compliance, the bid price of the company's common stock must meet or exceed $1.00 per share for at least 10 consecutive business days before expiration of the 180-day period.

The notification has no effect on the listing of Conexant's stock at this time, and the company intends to take the actions required to regain compliance.
