Teledyne Geospatial to bring new Optech hardware and CARIS software solutions to Oceanology International 2024

Fredericton, New Brunswick, CANADA – February 29, 2024 – Teledyne Geospatial will bring its latest advancements in ocean mapping hardware and software solutions to Oceanology International 2024, in London, UK, March 12-14.

Visitors to the Teledyne Geospatial booth G203 will be introduced to the Optech CL-360 Marine. This 360-degree long-range laser scanner combines a scan speed of 250 lines per second with 2mm range resolution, a plug & play solution, and an IP67 marine grade sensor making it the first of its kind high-accuracy marine grade laser scanner. The lidar sensor can be seamlessly integrated with high resolution multibeam systems and the CARIS Ping-To-Chart workflow, allowing for full above-and-below- water image capture with survey grade accuracy in a single workflow. The sensor’s 360-degree scanner and high collection rate provides a premier solution for mapping coastal infrastructure. The CL-360 Marine is the only lidar system designed for use on an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) that provides survey grade range and accuracy.

Further, check out the HIPS & SIPS 12 release, with new workflows for multiple frequency datasets and creating/managing vessel files. Learn about new applications for CARIS Onboard and the CARIS suite of automation tools including CARIS Mira AI.  Speak to out expert team about the CZMIL Super Nova, the world’s most advanced lidar bathymeter with the highest green laser point density in its class and real-time processing capability for reduced post-processing time.

Find out about CARIS OnDemand, a new online sales platform that allows customers to purchase CARIS Software by the day, week, month, or year.

Teledyne Marine will have a crewed vessel running demos during the show and guests are invited to stop by and experience the newly launched CL-360 Marine installed and running on the vessel. The processed data will also be available at the Teledyne Geospatial booth.

Teledyne Geospatial unifies the hardware and software expertise of Teledyne CARIS and Teledyne Optech. The group provides customers with innovative integrated solutions. Offerings include turnkey systems, lidar and sonar integrated workflows and a range of systems and solutions that support holistic, precision data collection.
