56th Design Automation Conference Names Industry Liaison Committee

DAC committee’s charter to focus on enhancing and expanding the exhibitor and attendee experience

LOUISVILLE, Colo. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 29, 2018 — The Design Automation Conference (DAC), the premier event devoted to electronic design and design automation of electronic systems, has named the members of the 56th DAC Industry Liaison Committee (ILC). These volunteers serve as intermediaries to various constituencies at DAC by communicating and soliciting input to help drive an event that benefits all exhibitors and attendees. The ILC representatives work closely with the DAC Executive Committee to ensure a positive and successful experience for both the exhibitors and attendees. The 56th DAC will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV from June 2-6, 2019.

“DAC has added a number of new and successful initiatives over the past several years which have helped to grow the exhibits and enhance the attendee experience,” said Rob van Blommestein, Industry Liaison Committee Co-Chair. “This expansion of DAC exhibits was made possible in large part to the work of the Industry Liaison Committee. This year’s team of talent will continue the path of success to make DAC in Las Vegas one of the best.”

About DAC

The Design Automation Conference (DAC) is recognized as the premier event for the design of electronic circuits and systems, and for electronic design automation (EDA) and silicon solutions. A diverse worldwide community representing more than 1,000 organizations attends each year, represented by system designers and architects, logic and circuit designers, validation engineers, CAD managers, senior managers and executives to researchers and academicians from leading universities. Close to 60 technical sessions selected by a committee of electronic design experts offer information on recent developments and trends, management practices and new products, methodologies and technologies. A highlight of DAC is its exhibition and suite area with approximately 175 of the leading and emerging EDA, silicon, intellectual property (IP) and design services providers. The conference is sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Design Automation (ACM SIGDA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer’s Council on Electronic Design Automation (IEEE CEDA).
