ArchVision CEO presents groundbreaking content and workflow management software

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 8, 2016) — Thanks to AVAIL™, the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) market can say goodbye to traditional Windows File Folders and hunting for shared content on company networks. Randall Stevens, founder and CEO of ArchVision, recently launched a revolutionary new business that will drastically improve AEC content management and workflows.

“ArchVision is celebrating its 25th anniversary this August servicing the AEC market initially through regional visualization services and globally over the past 18 years with software products,” Stevens said. “All of our experiences over those years have now culminated in the development of AVAIL, which promises to change the way content is managed and accessed. This is a problem that has plagued the industry for many years and has been exacerbated now by the volume of BIM-related content being created and consumed.”

AVAIL, already operating in beta with some of the world’s top architecture and engineering firms, solves the 40-year-old problem of folder organization, and is set to redefine how content is managed in the industry. The Lexington, Ky.-based business has begun adding to its team by hiring professionals with backgrounds in both architecture and computer science to ensure ultimate understanding and deliver what its clients in the AEC industry need the most.

Perhaps the biggest problem AVAIL, which includes a tight integrated with Autodesk Revit, aims to solve is that of organizing, sharing and finding content across company networks — including firms that may have dozens of offices around the world and thousands of employees as well as smaller, regional firms. AVAIL creates new ways to easily organize content that is already sitting on a firm’s network, without requiring users to move anything out of existing folders or disrupting existing workflow.

“With AVAIL™, AEC firms can now centrally manage their firm-wide content assets and provide individuals and/or their practice groups with a subset of the content that is most relevant to their workflow,” Stevens noted. “We talk about it in terms of signal versus noise. Each individual is only interested in a subset of the global content offering. AVAIL lets them get to that valuable content.”

In addition, AVAIL is content agnostic, will ultimately simplify the connection between designers and manufacturers, and can be completely customized according to an AEC firm’s needs.

About AVAIL™

Recently spun out of 25-year-old ArchVision, AVAIL’s mission is to forever change the way you retrieve digital files (content) on your company network. Focusing initially on the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry, AVAIL solves the 40-year old problem of trying to store and retrieve information organized in Windows File Folders. After indexing the content on your network, AVAIL’s proprietary Tag filtering technology narrows the hunt for the file you’re looking for with a couple of clicks and produces a stunning new visual way to present your files. With most of the world’s data trapped on private networks and hard drives AVAIL provides a platform for bringing new information and services to customers by indexing and managing that content and related information.
