CHGT Looking to Make Custom Computer/Video Console Accessories

HOUSTON — (BUSINESS WIRE) — January 14, 2016 — Changing Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: CHGT) is researching and experimenting with using additive manufacturing and laser cutting to rapidly design and produce custom computer and video game console cases, and other related accessory components.

“Computer and video console case modification (or modding, for short) is a growing trend,” said CHGT CEO Marco Valenzuela. “Some use it to help with performance or cooling, but there is a large subset of users and gamers who enjoy customizing the case (or shell or chassis) beyond the stock black or gray for purely aesthetical or even ego purposes. They want their machines to be one of a kind – to look hip, powerful or even intimidating and they’re willing to spend to make their machines unique. Custom 3D printed cases could provide a unique and potentially lucrative revenue stream.”

Modding has become so popular that numerous annual competitions are held to see who can come up with the most creative case. Often, cases revolve around a theme, such as science fiction, animation or games.
