CES Asia Draws Global Brands and Registrants from 80 Countries

More than 4,500 high-level industry attendees register for CES Asia in first three weeks

ARLINGTON, Va. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — February 4, 2015 — The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) ® today announced that more than 4,500 consumer technology professionals from 80 countries have registered for the inaugural International CES Asia™ since the launch of registration three weeks ago. CES Asia will run May 25-27 in Shanghai, China, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) and will draw global businesses to showcase the latest products and technologies entering the Asian marketplace.

“This strong response underscores the importance of and demand for CES Asia to showcase the full breadth and depth of the innovation value-chain in the Asian marketplace,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. “From tech powerhouses to innovative startups, we will have manufacturers, developers and suppliers here to grow and reinforce their brands by showcasing the latest products and technologies to a global audience of decision makers.”

Registration of consumer technology professionals include domestic and international buyers, resellers, distributors, manufacturers, engineers, product designers, CTOs, CIOs, CXOs, investment managers and others involved in purchasing decisions.
