ArdentMC Awarded First Task Order Under the Department of Homeland Security Geospatial Technical Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement

RESTON, Va., Jan. 28, 2014 — (PRNewswire) — Ardent Management Consulting (ArdentMC) announced today that it was awarded the first task order under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Geospatial Technical Support Services (GTSS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The task order, part of the $98 million BPA, supports the National Operations Center (NOC) Common Operating Picture (COP). ArdentMC will perform the work at the DHS Nebraska Avenue Complex (NAC) facility in addition to several data centers located in Virginia and Mississippi.

ArdentMC supports the DHS Office of Operations and Coordination (OPS), which administers the NOC, the principle federal operations center for Homeland Security related incidents. The Information received by the DHS NOC must be promptly analyzed, displayed, and reported using the COP platform and tools. ArdentMC delivers pivotal supporting services crucial to the mission needs of the Department through continued development of the COP system. Under the task order, ArdentMC will provide full lifecycle support for the DHS COP program to include project management, application development and implementation, business process reengineering, operations and maintenance, training, quality assurance and test, data integration and interoperability, and surge support.
