Dynamic Block in ZWCAD+ 2014 Beta: More Flexible to Make Changes

GUANGZHOU, China — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 8, 2013ZWCAD Design, an innovative supplier of CAD solutions for the MCAD and AEC industries, has developed Dynamic Block in ZWCAD+ 2014 Beta for more efficient block operations. Block designs have been made more flexible by allowing designers to freely view, insert, edit and save Dynamic Block. With this dynamic workflow that enables easy reuse and fast modification, ZWCAD+ is offering one more choice for CAD users to optimize their design efficiency and productivity.

Saving Your Time by Reducing Rework

The Dynamic Block in ZWCAD+ 2014 Beta is extremely efficient especially for repeated elements that are similar but not identical within the design. By dragging the custom grip or by specifying a different setting in properties palette, designers are allowed to reuse any Dynamic Blocks without recreating them, which may be tedious and very time-consuming, so they can focus more on concept development and design itself.

“Dynamic Block is an amazing feature offering designers greater ease to complex design,” said Daniel Huang, Product Manager of ZWCAD+. “ZWCAD+ users can also enjoy this feature now. In fact, Dynamic Block has been applied across many industries such as interior design and mechanical, helping designers to simplify design process and ultimately increase productivity.”

Interior Design: More Adaptive to Changing Designs

Interior design contains a large number of similar elements such as windows and doors with different sizes, widths and directions. It will be time-consuming if designers create different blocks to align with other geometries within the drawing. Using Dynamic Block, designers only need to adjust the block reference in-place if necessary, without searching for another block to insert or redefining the existing one. They can even create a block library in the design palette to enable reuse anytime, making the entire block operation more dynamic.

Mechanical Design: More Responsive to Industry Tendency

Multi-view drawing is widely used when designing a mechanical component. To have faster switch from one view to another, most designers would like to save different views of one component into a Dynamic Block. Now in ZWCAD+ 2014 Beta, they can manipulate the block properties and choose which view they want to display. Annotation has also been made more convenient for the texts and symbols are adjustable in a Dynamic Block, therefore decreasing work time in editing different annotation and thus increasing productivity.

ZWCAD+ 2014 Beta is now available with more than 10 ground-breaking new features, you can click here to download the latest version, or visit our Facebook for more information about other ZWSOFT products.
